Time for an update! It has been anything but quiet around here, the last few months. We've been working hard lately to finish the new 'Duinrell'
commercial, which will be aired this summer on radio and television. Our returning client U-Trax visited us for recording the new Playstation game called
'Stuart Little'. Further, music and sound effects from VaVaVoom! are used for the new television-gameshow 'Smart Kidz' on Zappelin.
We've also been recording for our returning clients Leenart & Heemskerk and Ariez Pharma Consultancy. And above all, our company outings turn out to be a huge success! Companies like Unilever, Shell and Nike had an unforgettable day in our studio.

Lastly, Tim will leave us from August 1st as our office- and projectmanager. We will definitely miss him... but fortunately he will still be a part of our team as freelance studio engineer (his original position). We wish him all the best in his carreer!

First of all, we all wish you a musical and creative new year! A lot has happened the last couple of months. Partner Michiel van Bokhorst has left the company from October 1st, 2004. He has moved to Bonaire to enjoy the sun, sea and the beach. We wish him all the best!

We've been very busy on new projects as well! New voices have been recorded for the alcohol, drugs and smoking telephone-helplines. We've also produced the Echinaforce, Erectieklachten.nl, Cinuforce and Influasan (vegetable drugs) radiocommercials. VaVaVoom! has also provided the complete soundset for the televisionshow Driver's Seat, as seen on Veronica TV.

For our client U-Trax we produced and recorded the voices and soundeffects for the James Bond: Rogue Agent and Need for Speed Underground 2 radio-ads. We've also supplied some lovely christmas music for a Sims 2 TV-ad.

Furthermore, a.o. the Chamber of Commerce Utrecht and Essent Kabelcom have experienced an ultimate afternoon during our company outing program! And last but not least, our studio has had quite an update, again: due to our growing postproduction activities, the small Grundig tv-screen has been replaced by a 42" Philips 42PF-9965 plasma.

Time for an update! Lots of things happened in the last couple of months. The game-show "Get the Picture" has ended, after a period of 8 years. The follow-up gameshow is called "That's the Question". And obviously, VaVaVoom! provided the full leader package for that show! Our returning client U-Trax has recorded some voiceovers for the game "Who wants to be a Millionaire?", based on the tv-show. U-Trax also recorded navigation-voices for the GPS-application NavMan and the Dutch version of Duel Masters. Besides that, we've also composed and produced the radiocommercial of Ouwehands Dierenpark. It will be also used for supporting the tv-commercials too. Speaking of tv-commercials, the sound and music for the "Dokter Direct" and "Wilux" commercials has also been done by VaVaVoom!

There have also been some changes inside the company. Niels and Tim have succesfully graduated in Audio Design. They will join our team as studio-engineer and project manager. Besides that, the controlroom havs been upgraded. After our upgrade to the Protools HD3 system, uur mixing desks have been replaced by a Digidesign ProControl. The studio is now totally 5.1 surround compatible, due to 5 new DynAudio BM6a speakers and a Linn Sizmik woofer.

The studio has been booked by U-trax for the better part of february, to record the dutch versions of three multi-platform computer games.
Furthermore, today marks the departure of Warner. He is leaving VaVaVoom! for a prestigious position at Take 2 Interactive, a developer and publisher of, yes really, computer games.
We wish him a lot of success at his new job, and we thank him for three years of enthusiasm and services beyond the call of duty.
We will miss him terribly. Thank you, guiNee!

A lot of things have been going on. We've recorded various commercials for U-Trax, as well as a new radiocommercial for Duinrell, a well known Dutch amusementpark. WPC and Leenart & Heemskerk have also recorded some of their projects in our studio. Connexxion chose our unique concept for their company-outing. Last but not least, we're working on a new television tune for a show that will start (again) on January 7th. More info on this latest project will follow soon.

Tonight, october 27th, premieres the new daily quizshow called 'That's The Question', for which VaVaVoom! provided all the music. We also recently recorded the new radio commercial for 'Het Diabetesfonds'. For this project, VaVaVoom! worked closely with 'MindState'. Last but not least, TMP Hudson chose our unique concept for their company outing. It was a huge succes.

We're currently composing and producing a new televisiontune. Unfortunately we cannot reveal too much at this time. Stay tuned for updates on this project. We also recently installed MOTU's Mach 5 samplerkit. in one word: SUPERB!

I updated the voice-over page.
Furthermore, U-Trax recorded the new commercial for Soul Calibur2 as well as the instruction video for Sony's upcoming EyeToy. For 'De Beeldfabriek' we recorded all audio for the 'Utrechtse Bazaar' televisioncommercial. This was our first project for them.

The English version is finally online. As you can see, we had our logo completely redesigned. The main studio was recently upgraded with a brand new PowerMac G4 with a Protools HD3 recording system, as well as Lexicon's 960D surround FX processor.
So, from now on, all of our recordings will be at 24 bit and 96 kHz.
Our Logic suites are all upgraded to version 6.1, just as is ProTools.

Furthermore, U-Trax recorded the Dutch script for 2 upcoming Harry Potter titles on all nextgen game-consoles.
